Overview
Translate your Wix website with Smartcat AI translation and deliver high-quality results in up to 280 languages. This guide walks you through connecting your Wix site, reviewing the translation, and publishing it.
Translate your Wix website in Smartcat

Open your Workspace and click the Translate a website shortcut

Specify both the source and the target languages. You can select multiple languages if you need

In the Website URL field, paste the URL of your Wix page

Click Preview my website

Smartcat opens the translated version of your Wix page

Use the toolbar above to switch between languages

Adjust the preview settings using the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the screen

In the Translation mode section, specify how the translation is rendered for your website visitors

Use the Language selector tab to choose how the language selector best fits your Wix page design

In Preview settings, specify how you want to view the translated page

In Publish settings, select your Published Languages and copy the JavaScript code for publishing your translated page
Your Wix site is now previewed and configured for translation in Smartcat.
Review the translation

To review the translation, click Edit. This opens the CAT editor

Review your translation, which is split automatically into segments. You can make edits here. Confirm each segment translation before moving to the next

To return to your website preview, click Back
Your translation is now reviewed and ready to publish.
Publish your translated website

From the preview, publish your website translation by clicking the button next to the address field

Click Copy code to save the code to the clipboard
📌 Add the Smartcat code snippet to the header of the page to ensure the Smartcat Website translator operates correctly.

Open the Wix Dashboard and open Settings. Select the Custom code option in the Advanced section and paste the JavaScript code into the website Head

Once the code has been added, click Validate and continue in Smartcat
Your translated Wix website is now published and live for your visitors.
