Understand collaborative workspaces in Smartcat

Overview

Different subscription plans on Smartcat come with different collaboration privileges across workspaces. This article explains how workspaces and Smartword balance sharing differ between plans.

Workspaces on the free plans

Smartcat Basic plans include one collaborative workspace for your organization.

Collaborative workspaces on paid plans

A subscription to the Smartcat Enterprise plan lets you use multiple workspaces with subscription features and share the same Smartword balance between all workspaces of the organization. These workspaces are called Collaborative Workspaces. The Smartcat support team manually activates your subscription for the workspaces that you specify within your organization.

Your organization may have many Smartcat workspaces but need only a few of them. For this reason, Smartcat can share your organization's Smartword balance with only your selected workspaces. Depending on your request, Smartcat can either add Smartwords to your organization's balance or divide the Smartword amount between the workspaces.
