Downloading Files in Smartcat

Step 1: Accessing Download Options

Click on the Download button. This will present you with three options: Video, Video with Subtitles and Subtitles. Each of these options provides multiple language choices.

Step 2: Exploring Subtitle Options

Click on Subtitles. This will give you the option to download subtitles in either your source language or your target languages. The subtitles are available in SRT and VTT formats.

Step 3: Downloading Video with Subtitles

Click on Video with subtitles. This option provides a video with the subtitles already baked into the video, eliminating the need for a separate subtitle file. You can choose to have the original language with either the original subtitles or translated subtitles. Alternatively, you can select the translated video audio with the subtitle in the target language or the original.

Step 4: Downloading Video without Subtitles

Click on Video if you wish to download the original video or the translated video without subtitles. You can download the separate subtitle file and upload it to your service such as YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, or any other video provider.
