How to Translate AEM Guides Content Using the Smartcat Plugin
This guide explains how to translate content in AEM Guides using the Smartcat plugin. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth translation process.
1. Open AEM Guides Admin Panel
Navigate to the AEM Guides Admin Panel.
2. Select the Map for Translation
Select the Editor tab.
3. Go to the Repository tab.
In the folder list, select the Map you want to translate. Click on the three-dot icon next to the selected Map. Then, choose Open in Map Console from the dropdown menu.
4. Select Translation and Set Language
In the left-hand tab, select Translation. Next, you need to specify the Translation Language
Choose your desired translation language in the right tab.
Apply your choice.
5. Select files for translation
On the next screen, select the files that need to be translated.
Click Send to Translation.
6. Create a translation Project
In the pop-out panel on the right, enter a title for your translation project.
7. Monitor translation progress
Click Refresh on the top bar.
Once refreshed, click through the In Progress status.
In the pop-out window, navigate to the translation project by clicking on its title.
8. Review Translated Files
On the translation project screen, check the status of the translation.
View the files sent for translation.
Review translated files to ensure all segments are correctly translated.
