Paying freelancers through Smartcat

Paying for your translator’s work through Smartcat is easy and requires just a few clicks:

  1. First, sign up for Smartcat. To do this, click on the Pay button in the email sent to you.


  2. Choose the account type that describes your company.

  3. Fill in your company details as they should appear in an invoice. You can pay the invoice in the currency of your choice.

  4. After filling in your details, you will obtain access to the Payments Section. Here you can find the invoice to pay to your freelancer.

  5. You may pay the invoice immediately when you are creating it or at a later time. Clear invoices conveniently via credit card, PayPal or by bank transfer. 


How much is it?

Smartcat charges 0-4% on top of the requested payment depending on your location and you will see the total cost with the fee already included.
